      • Zombie

      • Tony Delfino

Blessed vs Cursed was basically humans vs zombies

    • Kevan Kramer

      it just the 2nd one.

  • Dr. Burn Crow

I am stupidly in love with Elvish Archdruid’s art. Wow.

    • Zombie

Swanland has that effect on people.

      It’s Wurmcoil Druid.

  • breach

do people even enjoy Elves that much that it warrants so many versions and reprints? :v
what I’m saying is, where my Noggle vs Homonculus tribe at

    • Theblue ant

I was hoping for Kolbolds vs Thrulls

      • Shagoth

Freaking plebs, Trilobite vs Sponge vs Homarids.

        • Theblue ant

          Bushwagg vs Ouphes

    • Zombie

Elves is far and away the most popular tribe in Magic. It has massive casual, EDH, Legacy, and Modern appeal, and spans nearly all of Magic’s history and is supplemented by numerous sets.

Wizards keeps making more Elves product because tons of people buy it.

      • Tony Delfino

I thought zombies was the most popular tribe….

Regardless, though, it’s definitely up there in the top along with a lot of the other major tribes.

  • Theblue ant

The goblin is sitting on the device seen on Steamflogger Boss. Dominaria has contraptions confirmed?

    • Necrachilles

      close but not really

  • Marvin Sürig

if nobody appreciates it the Welder has a little lizard on the shoulder that creates the flame for his tool. That is soooo awesome.

    • CrimsonVanguard

      That’s amazing.

  • Zombie

Honestly I’m not too hot about that new Ezuri art. It’s good quality, but with all that blush he just looks like Elrond with a head cold.

  • foxboy1000

Wow, more half good art. Wish WOTC would drop their bad artists.

  • Marvin Sürig

Why the hell does Ezuri has such white skin? I mean the original Ezui has it, too. The one of this set at least has some green verdigris on it. For everyone who doesn’t know it: Mirrodin Elves have copper Skin and they need to polish their skin to prevent it from looking green. Imagine how akward that must be for teenage elves on mirrodin X’D.

    • Tony Delfino

      Right? On a world with 5 suns, you’d think he’d have a tan ;)

      • Marvin Sürig

It’s not about tan. The elves of Mirodin has literally copper skin XD They explained it in the book as why the elves of Miroidn are green.

        • Tony Delfino

If you look at the card art of elves on Mirrodin, they have copper plating, but aren’t 100% made of copper. So it’s easy to assume his bracers and breastplate are part of his actual body.

          • Marvin Sürig

did you read the novels of mirrodin? Because there are actual book. And glissa states how he sister polished up her skin which removed the green copper corrosion from her body giving her a copper look. Maybe they changed it from what is written in the noval mirian elves are copper skined and the green color comes from corrosion. In addition to that they got spiked metal extensions at their legs and arms granting claws to their hands and feet.
But hey the new goblins look nothing like the old one.

          • Tony Delfino

I didn’t, but I’ve read up on the lore of the plane, and I would think that if they were made entirely of metal that would be reflected on their cards. A basic overview of the elves of Mirrodin describes them this way: “Viridian elves were marked by their bright green or pale white skin, while the mycosynth growing within the plane caused them to grow intricate plates and spikes of copper across their bodies.” Which still is accurate to both of what we’re saying. She’d have copper as the metallic part of her skin and the rest of it would be pale white like Ezuri or bright green like Glissa.

          • Marvin Sürig

Okay. Then it’s most likely an update after scars of mirrodin. I liked the idea that tht green is this akward metal that can be polished and shows if they often touch certain skin areas.

  • TezzeretofCarmot21

Why are they being so secret with Ezuri? A new legendary frame or something?
