    this seems fun

    • Robert FakeLastName

now all we need a super big instant or sorcery to become his bff.

      • Daniel Behan

Honestly any good value spell would be awesome with him doesn’t even need to be that big of a spell

  • TogetherAlone

This screams “break me” in commander I think.

    • Jonathan Reynolds

Only if you are drafting commander decks…

      • TogetherAlone

Whoops missed the draft wording further down the card, I stand Corrected!

        • Jonathan Reynolds

A good way to know is to look for the seal image behind the card text. Every card with that seal on it has a draft specific mechanic on it somewhere.

        • Happy The Cat

ah! but it doesnt say WHEN it had to be drafted! technical loophole that doesn’t really work found!

  • Happy The Cat

so what I’m getting from most of these draft only cards is that you just want to get as many of the same card as you can so when you draw one you get to fire them off really, really big.
also… if this has a clone effect exiled you have infinite copies. just saying.

    • Mr.Mayhem631

I bet wizards is gonna be fair- I mean, boring- and not put any in the set :(

      • Happy The Cat

that’s kind of a good thing, if they did print a noncreature clone we would have a one card win condition in the set. besides the Condemn Wrath we so far dont have a way to deal with infinite 3/3s. Unless we get a lot of Wraths and massive board clear or wizards accidentally included an auto kill for five mana.

  • EddieDeanofIgnorance

Here’s hoping the guy who gets this doesn’t get a Kaya. Unless I’m the guy who got it, in which case pass me those Kayas! :P

  • Dr. Burn Crow

The shame is it’s only good for drafts. If this thing was worded slightly differently, this would break things.

  • Robert FakeLastName

So this will be perfectly legal in commander…so does that spell you choose have to be in your commanders identity?
EDIT: NVM here is to not reading cards all the way first.

  • Chromasticore

Who else is bothered by the card frame?

  • Kevin Stanton

just reading the card…it doesn’t say to remove this card from your library if not playing for draft ..the old Ante cards did say to remove them.
Also, it doesn’t specify that its a card drafted this game…. so, you could technically play this in any game, as long as the card your choosing was drafted at some point in time. seems like a very odd mechanic though….
also how do they add something weird like this, but remove mana burn from the game because it was “too complicated”

    • Tzenmoroth

The card only counts as having been drafted if you’re playing in a draft and drafted that card during the event you’re playing this in.
