• Sani

    They’re so cute!

  • Dion Random

    Free Spells incoming

  • ;owiuhsjef;ohejsf

Another card for my Teysa “Sacrifice the Children” theme deck.

    • Brian Wilson

Ok I need a list of that please

      • DeathMetalLlama

        Same

    • Kameenook

You are a monster, and your name is impossible to spell ;owiuhsjef;ohesjsf

  • silverwolf900

That flavor text is kinda sad

  • The art is adorable.

  • Aarhg

Oh god, that art is horrifying. Spooky dead children, staring into your deepest fears.

    It’s a nice card though.

  • Leonardo Duarte

Nice to put into a casual enchantment/aura deck. Actualy I think I’ll do it. Though I’ll have to get some measures against Return to Nature.

    • Kameenook

How could you? Although if your opponent destroys this card, he/she has no heart.

      • Leonardo Duarte

        Exactly.

      • wwww

I’ll cast Innocent Blood for them.

  • Chaospyke

This makes me sadder than when they killed Anafenza.
    ;-;

    • Andrew Roberts

Yeah, but Anadeadza is a badass.

  • RedPandaRevolution

“Okay, we need a real hook for Origins. Ideas?”
    “Dead kids?”
    “… Brilliant.”

    • Kameenook

I guess people are still mad about the skyrim orphanage.

  • Fakeromon .

One of the first cards we see from innistrad and I’m already sad

  • Melissa Juice

    Adorable.

    • Jonathan Mueller

In fact so adorable, I got an odd Unhinged vibe from it.

These are the first children featured on a card from a real set, aren’t they?
The last time I saw faces like that on a Magic card was on Meddling Kids and Little Girl, lol.

      • Melissa Juice

        Hmmmm. You may be right.

      • eltratzo

We have the girl vampire that is blood bairn, if that counts.

        • Jonathan Mueller

          Oh, you’re right!
          I totally forgot about that.

    • Kameenook

      Also sad.

  • Jonathan Mueller

Are these just spirits of some random deceased children, or do these have some lore behind them?

    • SketchyPluto

Pretty sure they’re just randomly deceased children. I was scared for a second though; I saw one white, two colorless with two ghosts as the art and thought it was Lingering Souls for a very brief second.

      • Bram de Lorijn

Would that be so bad ?

        • Happy The Cat

because standard already has poor man abzans goyf
we dont need more over powered cards for white

          • Bram de Lorijn

never faced Lingering souls but it looks pretty miserable to play against

          • Happy The Cat

tokens don’t need a “then do it again” option
the original without flashback was really good if that tells you anything

  • selesnyawarden

The feels, that flavortext. This is beyond the ordinary game of “magic” if you consider the feeling and discription taken into consideration at the moment of painting these spirits. Sometimes, its just too painfull to lose children to war or sickness.

  • Meris

Everyone going “awww so sad adorable kids” is forgetting that this is a 2/2. These dead kids are going to straight up murder you.

    • Marzen64

These kids equal a bear. Those are either really powerful kidghosts or bears freaking suck.

      • Happy The Cat

or if you math these kids each have the power of trained soldiers

  • Kameenook

Does this make anyone else sad?

They were heroes, but didn’t die in armor.

    • Happy The Cat

dwarven mages don’t live long sometimes

  • I just cant wait to play this, and someone Hero’s Downfall it. “Shame on you!”

    • Happy The Cat

well now they’ve died twice even before they could become heros

      • They were hero’s, but just didn’t wear armor.

        • Happy The Cat

yeah but they aren’t that that heroic
you just cast enchantments you don’t even target them
