I would feel a lot better about this if the cards you didn’t get stayed exiled.

Or if it didn’t cost 7 mana

However it isn’t limited to your own graveyard remember. So you could be exiling opponents cards which is good most times. And again this is a fact or fiction with the graveyard and not a Steam Augury so This really isnt too bad. You are on average going to bring back 2-3 creatures and in commander that is going to end games a good chunk of the time.

More likely, you still just bring back that One Creature You Need.

And I want them to stay exiled so I can screw up my opponents’ graveyards, not return to them so my opponents can reanimate.

Compare to Ever After. I don’t think it will see Constructed play. It has a lot more potential but often you just won’t have 5 Ulamogs in your GY, but you could have 1 or 2 in which case Ever After is much more useful.

Am I the only one who thought pirates of the Caribbean on this one?

‘Parley? Damn to the depths whatever man what thought of “Parley”.’

Hmm, an interesting take on the Fact or Fiction formula. Seven mana is a ton, but there are so many possible set-ups for this that I suspect the cost has to be that high. This will be incredibly potent for setting up combos in EDH. Beyond that it seems pretty fun.
