• Chaospyke

Black White at its finest. Don’t know if its gonna be standard playable But I sense some edh can use it.

Also why is sorin quoting Tony stark? “If we can’t protect the earth you can be **** well sure we’ll avenge it “

    • Blank88

      Tony Starkov?

    • Tstron

Perfect for my Daxos the Returned edh deck! Definitely putting this in there.

      • Nanya

How do you run your Daxos deck, if I might ask?

I have one myself, always interested to see how other players play theirs.

    • Edward

Very doubtful for standard since Brutal Hordechief had the same effect for cheaper and saw no play.

  • Animar, Elemental Master

Who is the girl in white??

    • Hedronal

Probably Olivia Voldaren, as Sorin recently asked her to ready her army, which it looks like that is.

      • Nanya

Actually, I think Olivia’s in red. The gal in white might just be a random Falkenrath Aristocrat.

        • Hedronal

Upon seeing a larger version of the picture, and looking closer at this one, I think you’re correct and I was wrong.

    • Arcus Diabolus

A nameless vampire that appears in the latest chapter.

Got seriously wrecked by Nahiri, who smashed the vampire’s mouth with a rock as she was threatening Nahiri.

  • MrAptronym

Very good in Karlov EDH, but nice in any token deck with the colors I imagine. (EDH, I don’t expect to see this in modern WB tokens :P)

  • Samuel Partin

Does this count each creature individually? Meaning does it trigger for each attacking creature

    • Liam Hector

yup, similar to the majority of enchantments (otherwise it would say “whenever one or more creatures” like on Thopter Spy Network .. so 6 attacking creatures, cause 6 triggers.

      • Hedronal

Dang, you beat me to the punch.

      • Samuel Partin

I thought so. Thanks for the clarification

  • Nanya

    Daxos want?

    • Happy The Cat

if you want to run him in a token swarm deck sure, but if you want him in an enchantment deck you would be better off filling that slot with another, better BBE.

      • Nanya

        Good point.

    • Asghaad

      Daxos, no. Teysa, HELL YES

      • Evan Dischinger

Not really at the highest lvl of optimization.

  • Happy The Cat

well, didn’t expect an uncommon BBE with white spilled on it to be great.
I mean it’s not bad but it’s no Painful Quandary.

  • Matt86

Great, as if white token EDH’s needed a sure-fire finisher enchantment…

    • Hollis James Frazier

The only BW token deck I can think of being super powerful as it is, is Teysa, Orzhov Scion. Even then, that’s more combo based than it is attacking with tokens and I wouldn’t run this in it.

  • Spacecat Runner

This card with zulaport cutthroat? I could see a BW standard there. Tokens that trigger the gain/loss on attack, then again if blocked/killed. Could even do a life gain build, aim for Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim? Chaplain’s blessing could get you there fast.

    • Nicholas Carpenter

This would go great in my BW drain deck; because i could easily put the land in there that makes my creature unshockable and if it has life link and i have cliffhaven vampire, that could be a good combo for my standard deck.

  • Arcus Diabolus

Look at the full art of this. Doesn’t the guy in the red armor on the full right look familiar to some of us Dark Souls players?

    • Kevin

oooh shieeeet, your right. Too bad i killed him on my first gameplay lel.

    • Kys

I’ve got to use my head and think. Hmmm….mmmm?….oh!

  • Scathain

A perpetual Foul-tongue shriek, for an extra 4 mana. Rather expensive for modern, but could prove quite useful in edh.

  • kmk888

Nigh unbeatable in draft or sealed short of killing all their creatures.

  • David Bray

Does this mean Sorin escapes from carbonite?

    • Wildspeaker

This is from when he was on his way to Nahiri (before being imprisoned)

    • Insight66

      He fell for the Ol’

  • Hedronal

I hope Sorin is very happy to have been so wrong.
