Should be good in limited but to many amazing Dino’s to make standard I feel.

  • HeyHey

I like it. Not quite as good as a dragon or Reality Shifter or Hazoret, but flavorful and solid.

    • Geddon

Uh oh. If the Frizz warped the whole class to Ixalan for a field trip, they’re not going to be able to get back home… binding of Ixalan and all that…

      • Tezzybros

        Dammit ms. Frizzle

  • Geddon

I don’t play a lot of limited, and I don’t really know what’s that good in the format. But a 5-mana 5/5 with trample and haste? My first thought is “Limited Bomb”.

  • TogetherAlone

damn that is a good limited card.

  • Kitnz

I love the use of feathers in these dinos! Though it’s hard/impossible for paleontologists to determine what dinos’ plumage would really look like, they have definitively determined that dinosaurs did have feathers to some extent. The colors in these arts… I love it.

    • Communist_Bear

actually, they determined some dinosaurs had ; and some hadn’t… Depending the species the dinosaurs would look really different from each other. For exemple, there is a little rapthor that look like a crow punk, black with white spot on the wings and an orange crest… But the borealpelta didn’t have a single feather (and we know it because we found a “petrified” specimen perfectly conserved.

      • oaomcg

and how could you possibly know what color they were?

        • Robby

Not every remnant of a dinosaur is a bone fossil. Sometimes, color is preserved.

        • Communist_Bear

pigment were preserved in the fossilezed feathers of a specimen of maniraptorian called Anchiornis ; check it out if you don’t believe me

  • Edwin Marín Castro

A 5/5 with trample and haste for five mana is never bad.

  • Dr. Burn Crow

Is this an Apocalypse Now reference on a Magic card? I approve heartily.

  • Happy The Cat

fun fact: based on the bone structure in their legs a T-rex can’t actually “charge”.

    • Forrest Cory

It’s not a T-Rex. It’s a Monstrosaur. Completely different leg bone structure. LOL

    • Darkray Accel

Based on their structure most dinos couldnt even stand, different atmosphere different rules, the O2 % was totally different than nowdays.

  • Sjors

This is a nice follow up for my Samut, the Tested.
    Trample, haste and double strike!

  • Scarlet Pete!

  • Path to Push

him or Regisaur Alpha on turn 3 thanks to Kinjalli’s Callerand and Otepec Huntmaster or Drover of the Mighty.. not bad, not bad at all…
Naya midrange dinosaur tribal incoming in standard or maybe, maybe even in modern. Adding a Carnage Tyrant in turn 4. Thinking of it a turn 3 Regisaur Alpha is the better choice because he gives haste to the killing machine tyrant. seems like a loooot of fun.

5 bucks says this will be a bomb in limited
