    And another nerft curiosity/keen sense.

      But gives +1/+1.

      • Marvin Sürig

Yes it does. But for that the creature has to attack each turn. Could work with Invisible Stalker a bit better. But it’s still nerft because it got a downside along with the upside plus it got combat written in front of it’s damage. I don’t care that much because my non white Volgrim EDH alread has each of the better ones and in non white you have about 4 aura cards and one creature that give ability

        • Hedronal

The creature doesn’t have to attack, just a creature does. I think we define “nerf” differently, last I knew a nerfed version of something is strictly worse.

          • Marvin Sürig

As far as I know nerfing something means to make a worse version (not strictly worse) to fit to the regular power level.
The new version fit to the current power level. The older version had a lot of combo potential for cards like Niv-Mizzet. Even tough our definitions of nerf seam to be off. The card is strictly worse because the current card design tries to avoid cards like Curiosity or Lightning Bolts.

          • Hedronal

Still not strictly worse though, as +1/+1 makes it better in one way. “Strictly better” and “strictly worse” are the only two nitpicks on Mtg cards that for sure matter.

          • Marvin Sürig

Then we have to say we can’t compare them because they are too different to compare. At least I would agree on that.
Sixth Sense is a strictly worse Keen Sense which is for sure.
I can see that this might be better in the current standard because there are nearly no pingers (Firebrand Archer e.g. could’ve turned each non creature spell in a can trip if it were more like Keen Sense) and maybe blue aggro Decks really care about the +1/+1 because they like to attack more.
The Problem with aura cards is mostly that they trade badly unless they are attached to a boggle.
Maybe the +1/+1 is exactly why it makes the cut instead of Keen Sense or similar cards in Modern.

          • Hedronal

I find it funny that while Sixth Sense is strictly worse than Keen Sense, it could still do weird fun politics once in awhile.

And yes, who knows? Adding 1 damage and dodging burn slightly better (while also doing low-level graveyard stuff) might work out well in modern. Or not, but I hope so.

Absolute bomb in limited. Fantastic art, too!

    • Hedronal

Fun type art with pirate tropes.

I think the +1 makes this an Bogle include over the other similar effects

    Sramchantress is exited.
