    Oh please if I herat on more person say that card a makes avacyn playable because reason b leads to method c of making her mana cost cheaper, I’m going to flip a biznitch.

    Revitalization is a valid tactic, a great tactic, and one that is abused in many formats. Avacyn is NOT a good target for that! What are people not getting? Is it not clear she is t making a suggificant enough impact on the field to stop people from laughing at her?

    Unburial rites was already in standard. It was already able to bring her back. This card only changes the need for black, and if yOu want to make a well constructed reserection deck, in a white deck, what’s better: avacyn or sun Titan into an image of sun Titan? The board presence and synergy sun Titan makes is suggificantly greater than avacyn. But that doesnt matter, it’s obvious it doesn’t. Not many people are going to listen. So against serious decks don’t come cry into me because this card got leaked, avacyn herself gets snagged, or she falls in a hole, all of which are run in every deck that is winning now.       continued: to actually use avacyn, even when brought back because you somehow got it in your graveyard, your mistaken.

        Respectfully: I will refer you to curious_orange’s post. You’re right – this won’t push Avacyn over any threshold to become playable. This is a casual card primarily, and I for one would use unburial rites if possible every single time, even if I had nothing but angels. My personal opinion is that Avacyn herself is also more of a casual card, for some of the reasons you mentioned: cost, not assuring victory, looking invincible but having plenty of weak spots, etc. If she heavily affected the current standard like, say, Dismember, the Mirrodin Swords, the Titans, Phantasmal Image, Snapcaster Mage, Delver of Secrets, or Huntmaster of the Fells, she’d be considered only for that, and not for her flavor design. How many players do you think care about Jace, the Mind Sculptor because of the story behind him?
        Tl;dr: Calm down, dude. They’ll figure it out on their own, eventually. ‘Til then, please just bear with it.

    This is a nice card, with great artwork and flavour, and a fun ability. It does make Avacyn more playable, but lets face it… a lot of people who play casual magic, are going to love playing cards like this with Avacyn, and some of the other awesome angels coming our way. Its a feel-good move. I will certainly enjoy using this card, being fully aware that someone may still easily remove her, but hey… That’s the beauty of the game.
