• Random Guy

1 mana 2/1 that allows/forces you to store a mana until it dies. I could see it being modern-viable, but only in a very strange deck that probably doesn’t exist right now. Very good at common.

Treasure is also a token and an artifact for decks where those matter. This and the Knave work well together.

      • Bobit

(same person as Random Guy) Yeah but artifacts are easier to get. It is good with things that care about treasures, if that deck’s viable.

    • TogetherAlone

except its a 2 mana card, it does matter as this doesn’t come down on turn one. Card is going to be filler in limited

      • Random Guy

In a deck with lots of 1 drops that’s mitigated. But yeah, hard to find a deck that wants this.

  • magicalfollower

Not bad for a common card. Not bad at all.

  • Shawn Michael Diaz

Finally, something to generate treasure in the two drop slot in Dimir colors

  • Grant Jacobson

i believe that I would almost always run this instead of the {R}{R} 1/1 goblin if I was in a treasure deck, not sure if that means that I would play it though…

  • Hedronal

Gotta love the flavorful zingers in flavor text.

Omg, sac this to Ruthless Knave all day. 3 treasures for Revel in Riches right there!

  • Jay Kilian

I suspect this will act in treasure decks like Sakura Tribe Elder does in Scapeshift. It’s there to block once and provide value on death. Or you can play the Ruthless Knave to get 3.
