• JoeBob

    That art… o.O

  • William Kirk

Good with plant tokens and nice against spot removal.

  • Nolly

A really strong card on its own, but I don’t think there’s anywhere he really has a home in.

    • Nolly

On second thought, yeah… dont know why green-white tokens slipped my mind, though I feel they have better cards in the slots this guy would want to go in.

  • DM S

Looks like Green/White is going to be on top again. How surprising!

  • Phoenix UNBENCHED

This card is as delicious as that tub of kool-aid granma feel asleep in

  • daron2501

how to turn all your 1/1 – 0/1 tokens in 3/2….

    • Gareth Martin

not if you are talking about the scions and spawns

  • Dr. Burn Crow

Oh hell yeah, come to Meren.

    • Urdothor

This, and Grave pact, in Meren. Sooo fun. The best kind of board wipe.

  • manapants

    fecundity has a new friend

  • Happy The Cat

petty good upgrader, will see play in any bg deck that wants value.

  • Nanya

…I hope this is just creatures you control…

Because otherwise this is stupidly busted if you can sac your opponent’s creatures.

    • xSiNx SHADOW

it is because of the word sacrifice

      • Nanya

        Just double-checking.

    • Mr.Mayhem631

You can only sac creatures you control.
If not, a ton of cards would be stupidly busted, not just this.

      • Nanya

Thought so, I was just double-checking.

  • Jaya

The art and the flavour are so deep and great

  • MrAptronym

Very potent in token decks. Not unfair, but interesting.

  • Zombie

This seems like something that I want to try and break with a T2 combo in Modern/Legacy.

    TO THE BREW LAB

    • Robert FakeLastName

      something with young pyromancer?

  • Scathain

Just what my five color zubera deck needs.

  • Arcus Diabolus

now this sucks, if only for the fact that you can’t sack eldrazi to it. This immediately kills its own ability of being in a eldrazi deck. Imagine fi it could, an eldrazi player could go full ham and sac all his scions and spawns and then slaughter his opponent using huge fatties and a very large swarm, much like in the lore.

Tokens is another story. This is almost unfair in cheap 1/1 token spawn decks.

  • Melissa Juice

That art is amazing. Very disturbing ritual.

  • Kevin Johnstone

    a much worse whisperwood elemental

    • Happy The Cat

except it affects all creatures on your side of the board, upgrades tokens, doesn’t need you to effectively mill you to make tokens, doesn’t require all your other creatures to die from another source, applies to morph/manifested cards that are worse than 3/2, all of the creatures are tokens and will get buffs from token based effects, same goes for having a creature type, oh, and it is almost half the mana and can be CoCo-ed.

  • Kevin Grant

This might find a home in my Ghave deck. Upgrade all my 1/1 tokens

  • NoobOfLore

Nice in token decks or any decks that care about sacrificing things. A sac outlet you can only use once, but you can use a lot that one time.

  • Snievan

Well this is just disgusting in a cryptolith rite aristocrats deck.

    • Snievan

Wait, it says non-eldrazi. Doesn’t work the way I thought it did. Still combos nicely with secure the wastes.

  • Vizzerdrix

Almost caller of the claw, still nice for combat tricks

  • aswanlikeneck

I baptise you in the name of Emrakul now GET YOUR HEAD IN THAT FONT

  • kmk888

Err don’t mean to be a buzzkill but half of the good creatures to sacrifice in Standard are Eldrazi.
