Zombie with manace? this is what we need in standard. 10 Zombie tokens tap for 20, evation blue zombies just get more evation and hit very hard.

the cool thing about this is when you are running it it will will be for one of these effects, not both. sure the other half will be a nice perk but go big zombies will love that menace and wide zombies will love an extra token source. you could argue a rare slot for this if it could exile from both graveyards

  • TogetherAlone

This is a menace army in a box. Excellent card in limited. Just play the game and play this later

Not quite Mastery of the Unseen, but maybe it does a good enough impression to see standard play? Could be decent out of the ‘board vs control, if control is a viable in the eminent sea of GW….

This card has so much VALUE, especially in limited when you don’t care about the graveyard. I’m so excited to play sealed with this set!

The main problem I have with this and enchantments like this is that they don’t give a reason to play multiples. They are good for commander and limited but not worth playing more than 2 of in standard because it is just a dead draw. I think giving it an ability that made you tap it or sacrifice it would have given incentive to run in standard. Maybe an ability that sacrifices this then pumps your zombies and gives them menace until the end of turn. I like the card but I want something that isn’t a dead draw in multiples. I still like the card but I don’t know if it is worth running more than a couple of for standard

it would be the first tappable enchantment if it had a tap ability

      • Hedronal

Try Flowstone Embrace, Second Wind, and Witch’s Mist for that record.

Well i guess future sight beat me to the punch. Future sight certainly did bring a lot of interesting ideas to the table.

I’m only playing for the menace part and as a last resort the exile for a zombie. This card is amazing!

    • NoobOfLore

You mean you’re only playing a card for the only two effects it has? A risky move.

I like to live life on the edge.

I’m really only playing for the menace effect, not the expensive zombie token. If for some reason I have this on the field with no other zombies but I have them in my graveyard, I’ll use the second effect. That’s why I called it a last resort for the second effect.
