    Wizards likes their pseudogoyfs

Hmm i would maybe use this is my Hardened Scales frontier deck, i was wanting another good 2 drop. Although i don’t have fetches and it sounds like my LGS will proly ban fetches if they start doing frontier, so it might be a little hard to trigger the Revolt.

  • DJ Pad

Seems real good with fetches, unfortunately does not pass the lightning bolt test.

    • Dave

      Almost nothing ever does.

      • God Enel

        Specially for 2 mana.

    • Cthulhooo

Whatever does past this test is often a busted, expensive mythic staple swimming in value like brimaz or kalitas.

  • Joel Lee

I doubt it will happen but it would make sense if they reprinted the zendikar fetches to go with these cards for standard otherwise this ability seems inconsistent in standard. I know they are very unlikely to reprint fetches for standard again anytime soon but it would help make revolt a mechanic that is standard playable. Also small thing but the revolt ability makes tezzert’s +1 one of the easier ways to make it happen.

If they print fetches in this set it will be the first time a buy a booster box.

      • Tyler Wilson

Clues are a thing, as are Vessels. You’re not dropping this as a 4/3 for 2 without a fetch or the like, but Revolt already has some very easy options in standard that are being heavily played in this card’s colors.

    Two Green pushed rare creatures?

“(…) and standard – has fallen”. With expertise cycle and combo goodness.

  • kmk888

Good gracious that’s pushed. Wizard likes their big green creatures. Not a particularly interesting design though.

It’s funny how much of a difference one toughness can make.
