Well that’s just amazing in evey way.

Wow. I like this. Not as good as Despise, but still cool.

I kinda think the scry is worth more than the ability to take a planeswalker.

In Limited, definitely. But in the upcoming Standard? There are SO many high-impact planeswalkers around. There are even decks built entirely around getting a bunch of walkers. Not being able to hit them is a bit of a bummer.

In some hypothetical esper control it could work – its just really efficient creature removal. There is other hand disruption that can get the pws. And negate (along with the new bad version of mana leak) works well against pws. The limiting thing for standard is that there is so much recursion, but even then it’s still a 1 mana removal spell that only puts you down half a card.

Hey, another card to always choose over Ostracize. I love the art and flavor of this too.

nice. the scry makes all the difference, so even if you whiff you at least get some value.

This makes me think of Gitaxian Probe. At worst, you get a look at your opponent’s hand and you get to scry, but to make up for scrying instead a whole draw is the potential to get rid of a card in their hand. I like it.

Good card. Sure it isn’t Thoughtseize or Inquisition of Kozilek, but like Duress and Despise, it is still definitely playable.

Although, I prefer Despise for its versatility (and because my playgroup plays with Planeswalkers).

    I’m really digging this.

It isn’t top level discard, but this is surprisingly good! Better than what they usually print, and it seems somewhat fun too
