    i’d say it’s pretty good

  • Justus Bruestle

Colors don’t fit with the tribes but there are many decks that could use this.

    • Arcus Diabolus

Have you never played golgari? Golgari loves reanimation.

      • Communist_Bear

Just speaking about the 4 Ixalan Tribes. None of them play both black and green. At least for now…

        • TezzeretofCarmot21

          *ominous music*

        • FancyFox42

But all of them play either black or green.

      • Justus Bruestle

Not sure what you are trying to say. I know that Golgari loves reanimation, but it doesn’t fit with the color of the tribes in the block. Vraska was pretty much the only other card that broke tribe colors in this block. I’m just pointing out that its out of place. (Still a really good card).

    • Marvin Sürig

Don’t have to. It fits in the theme of black/green which is exploit. You can just put in any strong big Dino or other creature to make it work. Altough it’s quite expensive to activate :/

  • TezzeretofCarmot21

Might test this in green black explore. Get all the merfolk branchwalkers back

  • Random Guy

Gift of Immortality, except on the first revive it gives you a land, but on the later revives it costs more. For Standard that’s good, might be better in a Sac deck than a Voltron. Sounds quite fun in the old steal+sac deck.

  • Zombie

    This is astoundingly good value.

Might even be good enough to power some sort of Abzan or Sultai Aristocrats/Reanimator style deck in Modern.

Cards like these are their own support so it’s not unlikely to happen.

The real power is that it brings whatever it’s on back, as well as turning into ramp that can also reanimate. Viability hinges on that kind of value.

  • Arcus Diabolus

If this sees play no where else, it WILL see play in reanimator edh decks.

  • Happy The Cat

so… it’s like Gift of Immortality… but instead it turns into a land that can repeat the effect over and over…
oh, also it’s in colors that care about reanimation. and also has a BoP stapled to it just to pile on.

  • Phoenix UNBENCHED

Protects my creature, ramps, fixes, and reanimates? Yep. I’ll take 4

  • Alex

I hope this card does poorly and is worth little so I can buy a binder page full of pretty foils…

  • kmk888

Very cool multicolored card because it enables both ramping to fatties and reanimating them, which are the quintessential green and black ways to get them in play.

This is a powerful and difficult to interact with engine made for constructed formats. T2 Sakura-Tribe Elder into T3 Journey ramps you 3 times at the cost of not using the Elder at the opponent’s end step. Beautiful art too.

  • Laws

The first card I’ve truly loved in Ixalan (Sorry Search, it was just a fling)

    • Aurore

      No, Fling was in Amonkhet.

  • Chaospyke

My word this is a beauty.

Just when sultai energy was getting a lil fame, and now it gets a big boost

  • Nharzhool

    My Child deck is drooling…

  • David S. McCrae

This is quite possibly the best Black/Green enchantment since Pernicious Deed.
Unless I’m forgetting some that I can’t think of off the top of my head.

    • Giby86 .

Of the whopping 14 Black/Green enchantments, this included? Yeah, its a pretty safe assumption.

  • sansmyhands

I REALLY want to play a T2 Sakura-Tribe Elder and then play this on it T3. Six lands on the board turn three seems pretty spicy.
