    so basicly the doubleing effect of primordial BUT you must attack… however at 5 mana primordial would be a 3/3 WELL within most red removal. ALSO this attacks turn 6 as an 8/8 trample while primordial would be a 6/6 vanila. SO this BEATS primordial in the aggro but looses in the super late game kind of. NOT to mention the extra value of all other +1/+1 creatures you also have in play. Auto add to guru of spores edh i mean just think of the combat shenanigans with this and guru!!!!

    Exava. Just… play it with Exava. She makes it a threat the instant it enters play coming at you for 8 damage with trample and immediately puts it out of Mortars range. And for those of you who like your silly plays, Corpsejack Menace. We’re done here.

    This is actually decent in cases where most hydras, when entering the battlefield or put directly onto the battlefield whithout being cast would otherwise die. I refer of course, to those with X’ in thier mana costs, which require at least 1 mana spent in X’. This hydra however brings new math to some boardstates and battlefields (kitchen table fun). Its interesting though.

    Well… Swiftfoot Boots + Kalonian Hydra is almost a game won in 2 – 3 rounds, as long as you manage to stay away from doom blade-like spells for just one turn. Green-White seems to become my fav. colors for M14

    Lets do some math, turn one experiment one, turn two burning-tree emissary into manaweft sliver, turn three ogre battledriver turn four Kalinin hydra does that add up to twenty to anyone else, ganged they will have blockers but that is brutal.
