    i approve of this card even though its in bold range, blue red control could easily run 2 or 3 of these since its flying (wont be blocked that often) especially in standard

    Is it just me, or does this look more like something out of an Izzet Laboratory?

    Even the vials have a steampunk-look to them.

    The green tones (particularly the liquid) is an indicator to me that we’re on Innistrad, but it still doesn’t feel as gloomy as usual.

      I think we’ve just been trained to associate strong red/blue duality with Izzet from ravnica, since it wasn’t represented often anywhere else.
