for a 1 cost red spell, this is pretty good removal. it does require that they have 2 creatures, and if they have like 2 3/4s, it doesnt do anything. but its still solid i think. its at least going to be a card you’ll always want in limited.

Also if they are playing an Enrage deck this is bad. Also if they are playing God Pharoah’s Gift or Scarab God you may not want to use it anyway. So, it has limited Constructed appeal.

Premium removal in Limited and against very aggressive decks in Standard maybe. As long as the opponent has two targets, it’s very good.

Certainly a standard sideboard card. Kills aggro decks and mess with Scarab God’s reanimators pretty well, and can derail some energy decks.

I have a friend who runs Phyrexian Obliterator in modern. This will be fun.

“Destroy target creature with lower or equal toughness than the power of another creature that player controls”

Quite solid imo, could see fringe modern sideboard play.

      worse wording because of deathtouch

      • Random Guy

Yes… but I’m just trying to simplify it so I can evaluate it, not saying it would be a better wording… it’s kinda rare your opponent has low power deathtouch creatures anyway…

People think that this is solid limited removal.
I’d temper expectations because of enrage.
