Could be good in Tron, but I think I’ll hold off on getting at all hyped until I see it in action. Could be too slow even for Tron.

    • Yeah no way is this going to be a thing in Constructed. EDH, on the other hand…

  • Julna Buras

Oh, my good sir, you and Blinkmoth Urn will have much to discuss in my Breya EDH deck.

    • Steven Wallace

Yup, this is 100% an EDH card. Fits right into those artifact decks that produce unlimited mana with no trouble at all.

  • MstrCpr

I was thinking of finding this in sisay for 8 mana anything, but then I realized I could just use sisay and pay whatever it’s cost is. Instant speed might be useful however, flash in an Akronas memorial from your deck

  • Zombie

I don’t really have much else to add about this card beyond what was said on the Masterpiece spoiler.

It’s just too slow to ever really do anything. It’s such a massive mana investment that building around it isn’t rewarded, and putting it into pre existing decks just makes you take out cards that are better/ more useful than it.

EDH will love it… But I just don’t see it doing anything. Paradox Engine is the one I’m keeping my eye on.

  • Alex Egertsen

At least I can add this to the garbage pile for limited

    • Tolle

This is far from garbage, this is going to be a bomb for any EDH player

      • Alex Egertsen

        I said Limited Formats Draft/Sealed

  • Pandancules

Paradox Engine response: This card could create infinite mana so easily.

Planar Bridge response: This card is too expensive, you’d need like infinite mana or something. Maybe even a way to untap it.

    • Dave

      Hmmmmmm… peculiar…

  • Tolle

This is mildly terrifying lore wise…

  • My Kozilek EDH deck is a-okay with this.

  • Ethan Naugle

I mean, I’m not opposed to playing Ugin from my Dragon EDH deck by still paying his mana cost :p

  • Andy Upton

Was tezzeret actually trying to link kaladesh to phyrexia?
