    I guess this could be viable if your Herald of the Pantheon survives enough to let you cast it for 4 mana. We know that won’t happen.

      Honestly, if you’re spending turn 2/3 casting removal for a 2 drop, Enchantress is perfectly fine with that. You’re not going fast or focusing on value, so enchantress is more likely to get to play the long game against you.

        red decks are going to have up to 8 1 mana 2 damage spells in them. you can spend turn 3 casting a goblin piledriver AND wild slash and position yourself firmly in the lead.

          Oh, of course. I was talking about pretty much everything except red decks, since most decks are pretty midrangey. Sigil+herald is pretty weak against red, but my point stands that herald->sigil will be relevant in a ton of matchups. But yeah, vs red not so much. Enchantress has other nice spells vs red like nyx-fleece ram, oppressive rays, courser and such though.

            frankly, non-red decks can just pack in some sideboard enchantment hate like back to nature. nyx-fleece will not be good enough to stop piledriver and rabblemaster.
            after rotation, there likely wont be enough enchantment support to be a full-fledged archetype unless the bring back the quests from zendikar.
            that being said, sigil is extremely powerful in a slow, grindy format that doesn’t have a lot of enchantment hate.

        to some people it is. I missed this because I was in my second tour of Iraq. Not everybody has every answer.

            Im not saying I want you too :) That’s how I define the period I was out of country and unable to keep up with new cards that came out during that period. I was in 2008-2009 which was 6-7 years ago. I dont know those blocks or even read over them. And surprisingly I’ve never heard of this card or seen it played before.

      It’s a sigil of it, not the actual throne, so it shouldn’t be legendary. Unless I misremember Alara lore.

      i wouldn’t be so sure. there very easily could be an abzan constellation deck based around doomwake, eidolon of blossoms and this. there’s plenty of removal in abzan and the engine is clearly there.

      can drop on turn 3 in a devotion deck. make multiple angels turn 4.
