Silent Sentinel - Born of the Gods Visual Spoiler

Silent Sentinel

Flying

Whenever Silent Sentinel attacks, you may return target enchantment card from your graveyard to the battlefield.

  • YouGotFranked

I don’t know how yet, but i’m pretty sure someone will find a way to make this card absurdly broken in edh.

      Aurelia

  • king

    That artwork is terrible!

  • Eruk

The art is bad, is this really Kev Walker?

    • Zombie

The picture is also extremely grainy, which could make it a lot worse than it is.

It looks similar to Kev Walker’s style (The blended shading style is similar, and so on…), but without the full detail of the card I can’t be sure if it’s legit. Probably is though, and the terrible picture is what’s ruining it.

    • GRUULman

In your opinion yes but I rather like its shadowy background contrast to the foreground, and overall the detailed lion head.

  • Sleepy Jackdaw

With this, you can put things like dismiss into dream onto the field… EVERY turn. It may be the “new sun titan,” …though that may be a bit of an overstatement. Orzhov enchantments in limited, is my guess.

  • MagicGALAXY

Very good, but not too good. The enchantment coming back to the field is a plus, but something seems to be off with me and this card.

I just don’t think it would see much Standard play, but most likely Commander. This bad boy will open a whole new world of mono white trolling.

  • Zombie

    Limited bomb, worthless in Standard.

Possible uses in EDH, but there’s easier ways that already exist to bring Enchantments back.

  • Sir Library Eater

For all you naysayers, think of the bant hexproof with enchantment support that could use this.
Ethereal Armor, Sphere of Safety, Boon Satyr, Aqueous Form, Thassa’s Emissary… The list goes on.

  • Ral Zarek

Am I the only person who likes the artwork?

  • Nasa

See, the great thing about this guy, is that we now have a TON of enchantment creatures too. I wonder if you can return an enchantment creature as a bestowed thing, or if it has to come back as a creature…

  • FuzzyKittyBark

if you get it out, and it doesn’t die, and you don’t die, and there are some decent enchantments in your graveyard, this might be good
