    This seems quite good.

    • galen150

not really. its basically a 4/3 artifact creature that says you have to tap a creature in order to attack. if this was good, then skyskiff, the 2 mana 2/3 flying vehicle would have actually seen play

      • Santuli

This could see Limited play, depending on what else the set holds. A lot of cards are designed specifically for that format.

    • Alexandre Donnart

Just compare it to Aethersphere Harvester. It’s bad.

  • Shagoth

    YES! Vehicles are coming back!

  • Mini Zem

So I guess crewing is evergreen now?

    • jochen

well; it is flavorful to include ships here, but i hope it becomes evergreen

    • JD Farrell

No, it’s a block mechanic. I’d love it to be evergreen but that’s not what has been said.

    • galen150

it is not evergreen. as they’ve stated many many many times, if an existing mechanic makes sense in a set, they will likely use it. vehicles was made in kaladesh, but it fits in very well with pirates, so it was included.

    • Hedronal

Vehicles are deciduous, like curses, hybrid mana, and double-faced cards.

  • thelordelric

would be nice if vehicles became an evergreen inclusion, but I guess there could be planes where it wouldn’t make sense thematically

    • Hedronal

They’re deciduous, like curses, hybrid mana, and double-faced cards.

  • Santuli

Vehicles were not my favorite…so I’m not ecstatic to see them again so soon…but I guess crewing pirate ships, to me, sounds a lot cooler than cars.

  • Alex

It will be fun to watch as new vehicles come out, but I’m guessing since we didn’t see any rares/mythics in the early leaks, no legendary pirate ships?

    • Hedronal

We didn’t see all the rares/mythics.
