bit expensive but solid artifact enchant hate.

Hits either, instant speed, cantrips. Expensive but good.

Literally twice that of a naturalize for drawing a card?

        • Hedronal

Generally worse than naturalize (outside of commander where 4cmc is a lot less), but still not bad (and not neutral, so good).

          • Tolle

That being said in commander naturalize sucks because destroying is basically bouncing with recursion so prevalent in commander.

I mean yeah, this is a reprint from back before green had absorbed the speed of red and the draw of blue. two mana for green to tack on draw a card wasn’t bad in scars and still isn’t *that* bad today.

          • Tolle

I agree with your comment about scars, especially considering that was an artifact block and this card basically read “destroy target permanent, draw a card.” I disagree with your analyses today. My guess 5-6th pick in limited and played nowhere else.

still, this is four mana non creature removal that can take a 5th slot? draw a card gives this a bit extra, and with the transform artifacts(that are basically quests) this becomes usable at least a few games, this didn’t see standard back in scars, and it probably still wont now, but it will still hold it’s slot of “not as terrible as it could be”. I’ll take this over Springsage Ritual any day.

I will pay 4 mana to kill a construct any day, if I get to draw a card. It’s pretty good in the board, but definitely not in the main.
