  This card is not a staple. Why would I want to miss mana turns 1-4 just to have an extra colorless on turn 5? It can fit into some decks, but as a staple? No way. Does nothing for control or aggro decks. A staple is wasteland or force of will. Some cheaper staples like sol ring or mind stone are preferable than this.

    I said an EDH staple. I will say it again, EDH. Most decks don’t play wasteland or force of will in EDH

      every competitive EDH deck plays wasteland, every competitive EDH deck that is blue plays force of will. None of the competitive EDH decks played this
