I’m wondering, if your opponent draws this card during their turn and cast it for its miracle cost, and during their turn you cast a card like think twice and cast it for its miracle cost, who takes their extra turn first?

    • Kyliektb

Magic created this card to make money. Hey let’s cheapen time walk and reprint it.
      Instant 40$ card.

      • GreyManJones

        sorcery 40$ card

    • Busterswrd_maniac

pretty sure whoever cast theirs 1st lol, either that or active player. good question though

      • Eugene K Ho

U know what the stack is right? Each player plays spells, in response to each other. So u literally put the new spell onto of the precipice one and resolve them from the top to bottom. This is the basis of how a counter spell works. Even if it’s played later, it’s a response spell, so technically it is viewed as it being played first. Mtg without the stack is very messy. None of that active player of who casts their spell stuff lol, those dont exist in this game

        • Eugene K Ho

          Sorry I meant previous… Not precipe…

    • Durendal

It’s a sorcery, so they can’t do that.

      • Flosscar

Actually they can with miracle, since it let’s them bypass the sorcery restriction. If Think Twice lets them draw a card during your turn, then they can definitely do this

    • Josh

The person who cast theirs second, they go onto the stack then resolve in reverse order to the way they were cast.

    • Jguberman

      Wait, what?!
Think Twice: does not have a miracle cost, and does not make your opponent draw…

  • Tim

It was said that the design team spent a lot of time think about balancing Miracle. This card is why balance came into question. Slap four in a fast action 40-Card Mono Blue deck with Delver, Stalker and some Cleavers and you should be winning almost every game. Here comes another Blue Bombshell card, in short.

  • Hmm

    Turn 1 Ponder
    Turn 2 Temporal mastery;Miracle
    Sounds good

    • Flosscar

Except you don’t have the mana at that point. Turn 3, you can do

  • Austin Roberts

Either this or ponder will be banned in type 2 before summer.
    T1 land, delver
T2 land, maybe flip delver, ponder
T3 miracle temporal mastery, attack with a flipped delver
T3.5 attack again with flipped delver, then do whatever

Nice card. Not as overpowered in T2 as noobs think. Still really good.

  • Blueyes FIl

The fail in miracle cards is that you cannot play them when you like/need them, at least if you wanna play ’em with miracle cost.

  • D1N0S4UR10

Well, it’s not really that broken tbh. I spent a lot of time debating this over with friends that actually played delver and such. So lets get down to the nitty gritty. It’s 7 cmc right… and Delver is a fast control aggro deck that wants to drop things that can beat face, for cheap like Delver, as well as control the state of the game in their favor. So if you run 4 of these Temporal masteries you will be stuck with 1 in your starting hand pretty often and occasionally 2. Holding a 7 cmc pseudo-time walk is kinda a bad way to go. There is a lot of hype over this card, but the relevant part of this card is the mana cost. It’s just too much to cast, I mean are you ever going to hardcast it? Most of the time, not really very often. The oh snap, are you for real part of the card is the miracle cost. It’s a pseudo-time walk for 2 cmc to be cast on turn 3 only if you DRAW it. so well there really isn’t a lot of top deck manipulation out there anyways and if you are going to run some the right amount would be about 1 at least 3 at the most. Because you’re going to be screwed, most of the time, if you have this in your opening hand and keep. Just hold a 7 cmc card in hard while the current meta can usually kill by turns 4-5.. So yeah just saying, I hope I pull one at sealed though only because I want to sell it :P. It’s a fun little card that will probably be banned in legacy because of mystical tutor and personal tutor. But overall not so broken, and majorly overhyped IMHO.

  • Maxevans2000

    awesome flavor text

  • Howlingerx3

Meah! To be honest… this card is a flop. The miracle cost is great, but it’s drawing into it in the times you need it most is what keeps me from wanting this card. To much deck tinkering, and to high of a casting cost to hard cast it out right. However, if i was to get one out of a pack or trade… i’d only run one for kicks and giggles.

Keep some reverberates around to Troll anyone that casts this…I think I will also take an extra turn!

  • Halorules_23

If somebody ( player 1) played this with a curse of echoes on them from another player (player 2), how would the extra turns go?
