Reverse Bloodbraid Elf, with no color restriction. Not OP or anything without haste and immediate ETB impact, but not having to cast this to get the benefit of cascade might make it exploitable. Perfect Emerge and Eldritch Evolution fodder for Standard (in Modern it competes with Solemn Simulacrum).

    • Robert FakeLastName

well with this you could develop a deck similar to living death or shardless bug(visions in modern). I was kinda thinking about a similar deck when visions was unbanned.

  • Alex Egertsen

all i can think about is shape anew build me card

  • Eli Eyal Broide

Perfect for yahenni’s expertise… 2 3 drops after board wipe

    • Random Guy

One 3-drop. It only triggers when it dies.

      • wraith

exactly, you get a 3 drop from the death of the keeper and another from yahenni

      • Eli Eyal Broide

Yeah, but it dies from Yahenni’s thing and then there’s Yahenni’s expertise free casting… so 2 3 drops after board wipe

  • Konan

    So… Slightly differently worded cascade?

    • DJPad

worse, because it only looks at the top card, it doesn’t keep going until you find something. Also only triggers on dying, not casting.

      • eltratzo

it does in fact keep going

      • DJPad

Ugh nevermind, I should read cards

        • Taxle

          re-read it again pls

      • ConDucktor Whirl Crate God

Um. No. Read the card before commenting pls.

    • Tolle

In short, to sum up the other comments. It is like a weird cascade effect on death.

  • Zero

What if i dont cast the card?

    • CD

If you choose not to cast the card it just goes on the bottom of your library along with the other revealed cards.

  • Salted

Into shardless into hymn? Seems pretty legit

  • That Guy

Very solid uncommon. I like it.

  • Geddon

Aether is one hell of a drug. Lets you cast all kinds of free stuff.

  • Rovkir Hexus

    So death cascade?

  • Shagoth

R&D Member 1: Hey, you know that “Living End Deck” in modern?
R&D Member 2: No, we’re not suppose to reference modern. If we did why would we even make Revolt a mechanic? That’s like making a card that does something extra if you drew a card this turn.
1: I always liked the deck though, it’s main problem was when you had living end in your hand.
2: We aren’t suppose to reference modern-
1: Heck with you, I’m making a cycle of cards that cascade from your hand.
    2: Oh my god, wha-
1: Also lets make a creature that makes the deck versatile even after a board whipe that followed the turn of resolving living end.
2: Why is it one mana? First the 7/11 for one that you decided to make easy to turn into a creature with two additional combos, and now this? Nope, it’s going to be 4-
    1: BUT LAVING EEND
    2: IT’S GOING TO BE 4!

Put this into a deck with rashmi, cascade is back in standard !
Perfect for yahenni’s expertise. also this with Mechanized Production
or some gearhulks, and trophy mage !, and then with Scrap Trawler, and with Hope of Ghirapur, u can make a insane strong deck in standart
