    Straight creepin

  • Kameenook

    Strictly better pulse tracker ?

    • Hedronal

Unless Rogue is good or Soldier is bad. So yes, times it is otherwise are very niche.

      • Kameenook

Well we know these things not to be true, so yes it is strictly better.

        • Robby

In Standard, it’s irrelevant, but there are cards that have a strong synergy with rogues in some formats. I don’t think most decks that would have these synergies would actually CARE for either of these cards, but it’s worth mentioning.

          • Kameenook

I’m not going to say right now that no cards synergize with rogues, and I’m probably wrong because I don’t specifically remember any rogue synergizing cards, but I don’t really think “strong” synergy would be correct. Again, probably wrong there, and nonetheless vampire is the far more important tribe on this card, so thus comparing it to the other vampire in a similar vein of play, it is strictly better than pulse tracker.

          • Robby

You’d be surprised. There’s actually a semi-competitive budget deck featuring rogues making the rounds in Modern right now. It doesn’t actually care about EITHER of the vampires that we have been talking about, though, when it can get a 1 drop unlockable rogue to trigger Prowl and put the lord effects on, but it’s still worth mentioning.

    • AustinSmith

I’m going to go with yes, considering Pulse Tracker is banned in Standard. :P

  • galen150

this is basically a 1 mana 2/2 vamp

  • chataolauj

    Best one drop so far?

  • Grant Jacobson

so this guarantees that at least some sort of black vampire aggro will be in the meta

    • Shagoth

      I don’t think so.

  • Shagoth

That’s really quite strong, except I doubt it will do much, despite being a half unblockable 2/2 for one.
