TradeHobbies – A New Card Trading Website
Vince, founder and owner of Tradehobbies is here to tell us more about his new website and how it can help Magic: the Gathering players make easier trades.
TradeHobbies is a web platform that connects sports card collectors, gaming card collectors and all other kinds of card collectors. We are the first website entirely dedicated to helping collectors exchange their cards with others.
Completely Free
The website is completely free for everybody. TradeHobbies is the perfect tool for every card collector to manage their card collection.
Members can add their own trading cards to their personal account so that other members can view them and make offers.
Selecting a card will provide you with information regarding the card itself as well as its owner, such as photos of the card, its full description, the geographical location of its owner, feedback rates left by former trading partners, and other such information.
Making Trades
To make a trade offer, simply click on the “Make a trade offer” button in a card description. You will then be able to build an offer by selecting the card you wish to offer and the member’s card you want in return. Note that it is also possible to make a trade offer involving more than three cards.
If your offer is accepted, your trade partner’s personal information will be displayed on your “My Trade Center” page. You will then have a 48-hour window to contact the member and verify their information. The trade may also be cancelled at this time, but every deal will be considered final after 48 hours.
“My Trade Center” is the place where you can manage all the offers you made and received. You can accept and decline offers. “My Trade Center” is also the place where you will have access to your trade partner’s information such as their name, personal address, email address and phone number.
Finding Trade Partners
To make it easier for our members to make trades, a reverse search option is also available. To use it, simply select the option “what members are looking for” next to the search bar and use key words related to your own cards. This option will help you find trade partners who are looking for the cards you possess.
