    wat…

I thought we had already established that the Phantom/Illusion ability was so bad that it was to never be mentioned again?

Stuff like this isn’t playable Wizards. They aren’t even main- deckable in Limited. The last good Phantom was Phantasmal Image, and it actually had a way to stop it from being targeted in Standard.

    Just stop printing them. Please.

I agree with you, but you fail to see the point of this cycle. Wizards want bestow creatures that had a drawback. Making this card a creature vision of Illusionary Armor does just that. We both know that wizards likes to make bad cards.

bestow this onto your opponents creatures and then target them with anything. they lose a creature you still have a big one.

      when life gives you lemons.

        Burn their house down

For 5 mana and having to waste a spell, I’d rather just let them keep their creature.

Well I mean it could be in limited and you need a last ditch effort to deal with their approaching Hero’s Bane. While stilling having a primary purpose of being a 4/4 for three.

“Enchantment Creature — Nautilus” Best card. I am so happy wizards is bringing back some of the weird creature types with this set.

  • Tom

I dont mind the illusion mechanic. Too bad he isnt an illusion, He’d be badass.

  • Nemo

Ehh, why is he not an Illusion as well? No room left?

This is going to be a limited bomb. 5 cost to make their biggest threat into glass, in a blue deck full of fiddly bits and heroic enablers, then get a 4/4 of your own? And in an emergency, or when you just need the beatdown you have a 3 cost 4/4 illusion again in a removal poor limited environment. I’d build around this.
