    ……TO RISE ETERNAL

  • Dominic Ng

This card is nothing spectacular until you consider its name.

  • Jalais

    Shouldn’t it be Deem Unworthy?

    • Serj

The art still represent the Worthy because its someone who completed all the trials ( and let himself getting killed by the red god )

  • God Enel

    RIP decent burn spells.

  • Mov

Here’s hoping there is still a decent burn spell at common in this set. A bit concerned that since we’ve got one each at rare and uncommon that might just be it for the set.

  • Jacob Kodicovic

“Good job, initiate! You completed the trial! Now, just stand right in front of my energy staff. Don’t mine the blue electric-looking stuff, it’s completely safe!” – Hazoret

  • Happy The Cat

nice ironic name wizards, thanks for letting red deal 7 for five mana when white can remove any permanent from the game for less mana.
this should have been 1r or 2r with cycle 1r or r, respectively. costing five makes this completly unplayable.

    • Polis_Ohio

2R would have been ideal if the cycling cost was kept the same. The design problem is that cards like Roast set a precedence in the more current design environment for how much damage should cost in a standard playable card, so a 2R deal 7 damage to target creature at instant speed seems way too good (even though it’s kinda meh) and 3R is too expensive, let alone 4R. Maybe if the cycle cost was 2 it would be usable, like you said.

    THE INITIATES CAME,
    FOR GLORIOUS ETERNITY,
    INSTEAD THEY RECEIVED,
    A BURNING INQUIRY.

    WHAT ETERNITY LIES,
    IN FIERY DEMISE,
    AT THE GOD’S HANDS?
IS THIS TRULY THE DEVOTION THEY DEMAND?

  • kmk888

This legitimately looks playable in Standard control decks.

  • Blahblahblahbla

Uncouterable removal and cantrip that can also kill a fatty? Value overload…
