  • Xero

    Well that’s pretty cool.

  • Tropesso

I think that this can see legacy

  • The Apocalist

Wow that’s awesome. So, am I right in thinking literally nothing the player controls can touch this??

    • JaceDovah

It could be destroyed, even If it isn’t targeted…
just think about Supreme Verdict o something that makes you sacrifice a creature :)
btw it looks pretty funny to play :D

      • The Apocalist

Okay, that makes sense. My confusion more comes from the idea of can it be blocked? Or is that considered the player targeting it? If so, this thing is the merfolk I’ve always wanted but never knew I did.

        • JaceDovah

          I just copy/paste what’s written above:
“This creature cannot be BLOCKED, targeted, damaged or enchanted BY A SOURCE CONTROLLED BY THAT PLAYER”, so…. unblockable ;)

          • The Apocalist

That was not there when I asked, as far as I am aware. But thank you. And thanks for capitalizing the inquiry. Not patronizing at all.

          • da

I’d assume when you are declaring blockers, you choose erm, nvm… H’m, good question. The card should read something like protection from spells and permanents that player controls.

          • Tetsuo!!

Why wouldn’t they just write it out more simply? Why mess with Protection from ___ when it only seems to muddle things up.

  • Andy Dondes

If you play this outside commander this is broken

  • Zombie

As someone who used to play Legacy Merfolk, this is definitely playable in Fish.

  • guy

should be white, but hey, lets give blue more aggro pie cheating cards. now they have control, aggro and there hand in combo. god bless blue.

  • MagicGALAXY

Hhiiiii hoooo Merfolk Rogue, gonna be played in Legacy,”OH NO!”

  • Erik Stokely

most likely going to play this in edric

  • CaptainConcern

Kill it! Kill it with fire! Hopefully non-targeting red…oh wait, can’t be damaged by you…KILL IT WITH SHRIVEL, LOTS OF SHRIVEL!!!

    • Ben Ehren

      3/1, so only one shrivel

    • af

  • guest

  • Stuart Whyte

My first thought was that this was a Silver-bordered card. Or at least a concept that was in Silver-bordered first.
